Weekly Diary

Saturday! My favorite day of the week! I was scrolling through my phone and saw a lot of pictures I didn’t post on my blog, so I thought it was the perfect time for a Weekly Diary.
Zaterdag! M’n favoriete dag van de week! Ik was de foto’s op m’n telefoon aan het doornemen en zag dat ik de meeste nog niet op m’n blog had geplaatst. De perfecte tijd dus voor een Weekly Diary. ^ I was out lunching with Sam when he snapped this picture (well, waiting for my lunch) in Bakers & Roasters. Heard a lot of a great stories about this cafe so we decided to give it a try. There are so many great cafes in Amsterdam, but we usually go to the same ones that we know are good. But from now on we’re going to try new ones!
^ Ik was aan het lunchen met Sam toen hij deze foto nam (aan het wachten op m’n lunch eigenlijk) in Bakers & Roasters. Ik hoorde veel goede verhalen over dit cafe dus we besloten er heen te gaan. Er zijn zo veel leuke cafeetjes in de stad, maar wij gaan meestal naar dezelfde toe omdat we weten dat die juist goed zijn. Vanaf nu gaan we juist nieuwe tentjes proberen! Tips zijn welkom!

^ Voor deze foto kan ik precies dezelfde omschrijving gebruiken hehe. Ik hou ervan om zwarte outfits te dragen in combinatie met witte sneakers.
^ This was our lunch at Bakers & Roasters! I ordered American pancakes with bananas & blueberries and Sam ate a chicken salad. Next time I will order the chicken salad ’cause that one was SO good. Oh wait.. I just said that next time we’ll go to other cafes hehe.
^ Dit was onze lunch bij Bakers & Roasters! Ik bestelde Amerikaanse pannenkoekjes met bananen en blauwe bessen en Sam at een kip salade. De volgende keer bestel ik die salade want hij was ZO lekker. Oh wacht.. Ik heb zojuist verteld dat we de volgende keer juist andere cafes af gaan hehe.

^ On my way home after spending an afternoon with my niece and nephews. The sky looked so pretty :-)
^ Onderweg naar huis na een middag met m’n nichtje en neefjes te zijn. De lucht zag er zo mooi uit :-) ^ Amsterdam skyline!! Sort of. Haha. I was wearing my Tigha coat and H&M pants. Check the full outfit post here.

 ^ Not last week – but a few weeks back – I tried red velvet cake at the Drie Graefjes. They say it’s the best red velvet cake in town, and even though it was pretty good, I prefer brownies!
^ Niet afgelopen week – maar een paar weekjes terug – probeerde ik red velvet cake bij de Drie Graefjes. Ze zeggen dat het de beste red velvet cake v/d stad is, en ookal was het best lekker, mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar brownies!
