^ MOVING DAY! This is the day we got the keys to our new apartment and moved most of our stuff to our new home. The minute I walked in, I threw my leather jacket off and put my hair in a ponytail since we had to walk like 1000 times up & down the stairs.
^ Lunch break with Sam. We both ordered poached eggs and salmon and it was delicious. The place is called ‘George’. (for those of you who are wondering)

^ Last week my dad came for a visit and we walked by this restaurant in IJburg. The restaurant was already closed (I think it was around 10 pm) but the sunset looked so pretty, I had to take a pic!
^ On my way to the Albert Cuyp market to get some fruit and vegetables. Okay not really vegetables, just some avocados. 
^ Two quick snaps of our new home. I actually took these pictures to send to my family. On the left you see the bedroom and on the right the living room/dining room. Looks very boring still but will post pictures again once it’s a bit more interesting!

^ A minion birthday cake for my nephew Mees! He turned 2 years old on Sunday and we celebrated it with the family. Ahh, he is so cute and he’s already 2 years old now (even though he will always be my baby, kind of, for real).
^ Yesterday wearing a Loavies dress, Zalando sandals and Gentlemonster sunglasses. By the way, as you may noticed, my blog was on a little summer holiday the last couple of weeks. I didn’t post as much I like to do but from now on I’ll try to get back to a normal schedule. At least 3 times a week! KISS
Weekly Diary
Saturday! My favorite day of the week! I was scrolling through my phone and saw a lot of pictures I didn’t post on my blog, so I thought it was the perfect time for a Weekly Diary.
Zaterdag! M’n favoriete dag van de week! Ik was de foto’s op m’n telefoon aan het doornemen en zag dat ik de meeste nog niet op m’n blog had geplaatst. De perfecte tijd dus voor een Weekly Diary.
^ I was out lunching with Sam when he snapped this picture (well, waiting for my lunch) in Bakers & Roasters. Heard a lot of a great stories about this cafe so we decided to give it a try. There are so many great cafes in Amsterdam, but we usually go to the same ones that we know are good. But from now on we’re going to try new ones!
^ Ik was aan het lunchen met Sam toen hij deze foto nam (aan het wachten op m’n lunch eigenlijk) in Bakers & Roasters. Ik hoorde veel goede verhalen over dit cafe dus we besloten er heen te gaan. Er zijn zo veel leuke cafeetjes in de stad, maar wij gaan meestal naar dezelfde toe omdat we weten dat die juist goed zijn. Vanaf nu gaan we juist nieuwe tentjes proberen! Tips zijn welkom!

^ Voor deze foto kan ik precies dezelfde omschrijving gebruiken hehe. Ik hou ervan om zwarte outfits te dragen in combinatie met witte sneakers.
^ This was our lunch at Bakers & Roasters! I ordered American pancakes with bananas & blueberries and Sam ate a chicken salad. Next time I will order the chicken salad ’cause that one was SO good. Oh wait.. I just said that next time we’ll go to other cafes hehe.
^ Dit was onze lunch bij Bakers & Roasters! Ik bestelde Amerikaanse pannenkoekjes met bananen en blauwe bessen en Sam at een kip salade. De volgende keer bestel ik die salade want hij was ZO lekker. Oh wacht.. Ik heb zojuist verteld dat we de volgende keer juist andere cafes af gaan hehe.

^ Not last week – but a few weeks back – I tried red velvet cake at the Drie Graefjes. They say it’s the best red velvet cake in town, and even though it was pretty good, I prefer brownies!
^ Niet afgelopen week – maar een paar weekjes terug – probeerde ik red velvet cake bij de Drie Graefjes. Ze zeggen dat het de beste red velvet cake v/d stad is, en ookal was het best lekker, mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar brownies!

Happy Monday! Here are some pictures I posted on Instagram lately. A mix of fashion, Amsterdam and.. coffee hehe.
A couple of days ago I asked if you preferred daily updates here on the blog (consisting of fashion, lifestyle, food, inspiration etc) or rather see outfit posts only, like 3-4 times a week. All the comments I got were DAILY updates! Didn’t expect that to be honest, but I’m excited to try out this whole new daily updates thing. :)
Fijne maandag! Hier zijn wat foto’s die ik de laatste tijd op Instagram heb geplaatst. Een mix van mode, Amsterdam en.. koffie hehe.
Een paar dagen geleden vroeg ik of jullie liever dagelijkse updates op m’n blog zien (die bestaan uit mode, eten, inspiratie etc) of liever alleen maar outfit posts, zo’n 3-4 keer per week. Alle comments die ik zojuist heb gelezen zeiden DAGELIJKSE updates! Ik had dat niet verwacht om eerlijk te zijn, maar vind het super leuk om het nu uit te gaan proberen. :)

My Week In Photos #4
Hi guys! While I’m waiting on Lise – I’m going out for dinner with her in about 30 min – I wanted to show some snaps of last week! I visited the Josh V fashion show, spend quality time with my family, worked on my new media kit, almost died because of some serious school deadlines and strolled a bit through the city.
^ A comfortable outfit I wore on Tuesday. Since I had to present a big project on school Wednesday, I was running around from the copyshop, to my house, to the copyshop again, to my house again. Once I printed everything, I had to get it in the right order so I layed everything on the floor. Sam came home while I was doing this and he was like whaaat is this?! I can’t even walk to the couch?! Haha, it was a pretty hectic day! But it was all worth it since it got graded an 8.
By the way I was wearing a jacket from Yoins, jumper from Primark, bag from Michael Kors and pants from ASOS.
^ Wednesday after school I bought groceries at a local market. While I was picking avocados and strawberries I came across this flower stand. You know my ‘My Week In Photos’ post isn’t complete without a photo like this right?

^ I spend the weekend at my moms house together with my sister and nephew. It was very nice! We visited a big indoor playground, had dinner with my granny, went to town and played soccer on the streets. Well, not really soccer. More like walking next to my nephew while he was touching every car, leaf, dog, basically everything he saw.
P.s. Yes, he was pointing his finger at the ball. Yes, I forced him to take a picture with me while he was probably thinking: don’t hold me like this! no photos please! I want to plaaay! Haha
^ I wore this outfit yesterday, pretty simple. Jacket from River Island, jumper from H&M, jeans and bag from Zara.

My Week In Photos #3
Hey girlies! Hope you all had a great weekend. It’s Monday, so that means it’s time for another My Week In Photos post. Let’s start!
^ I started my week by buying flowers on the Albert Cuyp market. Sam and I went there together to buy some fresh fruit, but I love roses so I just needed the white/purple ones. Now they’re kind of dead though but I don’t want to throw them away yet haha..
^ On Tuesday I was super busy with school deadlines, so the only picture I took (besides outfit pictures for this post) was while I was buying groceries. These lights caught my eyes!
^ After school on Wednesday, Lise came for a visit and we went to Hutspot to see this band play. I love live music, I could listen to covers etc all the time!
^ Sam and I shot outfit pictures on Thursday, in between the rain and hail. I received some questions about these boots; they’re from Boohoo but unfortunately they don’t sell them anymore. Asos and Zara now have similar ones though!
^ I got the coolest gift from my sister when she came to see my new appartement! She heard me talking about polaroid cameras for a couple of months now so she decided to give me one! *Probably because she was sick of me doubting whether to buy one or not*. She didn’t know which I one liked most, so she let me pick one and I choose the left one. I knooow, it’s huge, but I like the format of the bigger pictures.
^ On Friday afternoon I was busy cleaning the appartement (having your own place means cleaning. And a whole lot of it. Dayum.) But I quickly visited Juice Brothers for a healthy green juice. This one is kind of sweet, even though there’s spinach and celery etc in it.
^ Went out for dinner with Sams family on Friday night. I ate a carpaccio as starter, then a seafood pasta & afterwards the most delicious nutella desert. Yeeees, you read that right, NUTELLA! I now need to find out how they exactly made it. Won’t be a problem trying out different nutella desserts though :)) 
^ On Sunday Naz & I visited the Tony Cohen show during Amsterdam Fashion Week. I had a bit of a clothing crisis as you can see on the right picture. When I came home at 12 AM after the show (which was super pretty though!), I was like shiiiit, now I have to clean up this mess and all I want to do is sleep. Haha! I’m now going to cook dinner – Sam is feeling a bit sick so I hope my cooking skills won’t make him any sicker ;p Talk to you soon! Xxx
My week in photos #2
Hey there! Good evening. Sorry for the lack of updates last week.. My dad was on a visit and I didn’t prepare any blog posts (baaad!!) Won’t happen again! Here’s what I was up to:
On Monday I visited a PR agency to meet the team and discuss some ideas. In the evening Sam and I watched the movie The Revenant; really good but a little too rough for me at times. I won’t give away any spoilers, but if you have, you probably know which parts I’m talking ’bout.
^ Later that evening my sister and I picked up our dad at the airport 😄
^ We drove to Kleeve, Germany on Tuesday. We ate cake at a German bakery and we shopped a little bit, then we drove back again. The only thing I bought was dry shampoo though, not so exciting haha :))
^ I went to school on Thursday and followed a marketing class. We have a photo studio in our school and that’s where I took this (shameless) selfie. 😋
^ Friday evening I played the Bean Boozled challenge with family. Let me tell you one thing: the canned dog food flavor is nasty on a whole new level. The worst part was that I couldn’t get the flavor out of my mouth for the entire evening.. It was fun to play though!
^ Nijmegen on Saturday! I got home with fresh flowers, new stuff for my house (like towels etc) and a new pair of black jeans. You can never have enough black jeans. At least that’s what I think!
^ Sunday aka yesterday was the last family day. (buuhuu) We went into town and out for dinner. Now it’s time to focus on my blog and school again. See you soon! ♡ Xxx
