ME

Love scrolling through Tumblr in bed on a free Monday morning and getting inspired by beautiful pictures like these. They put me in a happy mood and make me excited for upcoming summer.

I just came out of the shower and I’m about to put on my make up. Lately I’ve been wearing less make up and I really like it. Okay, not when I’m shooting blog pictures, I still have to get used to that. I think this summer trend -for me personally- will be a really natural one? Like natural make up and wavy hair. Not super perfect flawless make up & perfectly curled curls. Okay we all probably know that a ‘natural’ make up look & ‘natural’ wavy hair takes time and effort anyway haha but you get me! :-)

Heerlijk om ‘s ochtends op Tumblr te zitten op m’n vrije maandag morgen. Ik word echt blij door dit soort foto’s en ik krijg echt zin in de zomer! 

Ik kom net de douche uit en ga nu m’n make up op doen. De laatste tijd draag ik veel minder make up en ik vind het zo chill. Oke, niet tijdens het maken van blog foto’s, daar moet ik nog aan wennen namelijk. Ik denk dat de trend van deze zomer -voor mij persoonlijk dan- een hele natuurlijke is. Iets van een natuurlijk make upje en golvend haar. Dus niet super gestileerde krullen en perfecte make up. Oke, we weten allemaal waarschijnlijk dat een natuurlijke make up & haar look als nog wat tijd kost, maar je snapt me! :-)

Good morning! I’m on my way to my family for an Easter brunch. Coffee, bread, eggs, hagelslag.. Mmh! Afterwards I’m going to hide eggs for my nephews & niece and I’ll make them work for it. Hahaha, no just kidding, I won’t make the treasure hunt too hard. It’s something they are looking forward to for a couple of weeks now hehe, so cute. (probably because they are little chocolate addicts, something I can 100% relate to..) Hope you have a great Sunday guys! X

Goedemorgen! Ik ben onderweg naar m’n familie voor een paas brunch. Koffie, brood, eieren, hagelslag.. Mmh! Na de brunch ga ik eieren verstoppen voor m’n neefjes en nichtje en ik ga er voor zorgen dat ze echt hun best moeten doen. Hahaha, nee grapje, ik ga ze het lekker makkelijk maken. Ze kijken er al een tijdje naar uit, zo schattig hehe. (waarschijnlijk omdat ze kleine chocolade addicts zijn, wat ik 100% begrijp..) Fijne zondag allemaal! X

A few pictures we shot a couple of days ago. Note to self: it’s okay to look towards the camera hehe. I’m so in love with this coat (especially in combination with my white sneakers). I received a lot of questions on IG/mail about the coat and where it’s from and it’s from Urban Outfitters. :-)

Sam and I have a movie night planned and I’m about to make healthy ice cream. The recipe is so simple: put 1 frozen banana + 1 tablespoon soy yogurt in a blender and voila! Delicious creamy ice cream. You should definitely try it out if you feel like making a healthy sweet desert. Bye for now! Talk to you later xxx

Een paar foto’s die we een paar dagen geleden maakten. Note to self: het is oke om in de camera te kijken hehe. Ik ben zo gek op deze jas (al helemaal in combinatie met witte sneakers). Op Instagram en via de mail kreeg ik best veel vragen waar hij van was, en hij is van Urban Outfitters. :-) 

Sam en ik hebben een film avond gepland en ik ga zo gezonde ijs maken. Het recept is heel simpel: neem 1 bevroren banaan + 1 eetlepel soja yoghurt, mix het in een blender in en voila! Heerlijk romig ijs. Je moet het echt een keer proberen als je zin hebt om een gezond maar zoet ijsje te maken. Ik ga aan de slag, tot later! Xxx

Spring is here

Some of my outfits of last spring – my favorite is the third one! Those pants :))

Spring has officially begun and I’m so ready for it! Note to the sun: it’s okay to show yourself! Right now I’m watching Idols together with Lise, on the couch and with a cup of tea, and we’re feeling so old hehe.. We can still remember the final in 2002.
By the way! Sam and I have booked Ibiza in May and I’m so excited. During my trip I will blog a little list with all of my favorite beach cafes and beaches etc, since I usually get a lot of questions regarding my tips! Now it’s time to put my laptop away, Lise will probably think I’m super boring ;p Kiss!

De lente is officieel begonnen en ik ben er zo klaar voor. Zon, je mag te voorschijn komen hoor! Ik ben nu Idols an het kijken samen met Lise op de bank met een theetje, en we voelen ons zo oud hehe.. We kunnen allebei ook nog de finale herinneren van 2002. (Team Jamai!!)
Trouwens, Sam en ik hebben Ibiza geboekt en we gaan er in mei heen. Jaaa, zo leuk! Tijdens m’n trip zal ik een artikel bloggen met m’n favoriete stranden en restaurantjes etc aangezien ik daar vaak vragen over krijg. Nu is het tijd om m’n laptop aan de kant te zetten aangezien Lise mij waarschijnlijk redelijk saai vind ;p Liefs!

A day in Essen

My mom’s birthday was 2 weeks ago and we didn’t know what kind of present to give to her. She always tells us not to buy anything, but we never listen hehe. We gave her a little trip to Essen, including gift shopping and lots of food! :)) Exploring restaurants in a foreign country is one of my favorite things to do haha. And we of course had to buy Dunkin Donuts because we don’t have that in NL, mhh!! About to watch a movie now with Sam, kisses xxx

M’n moeders verjaardag was 2 weken geleden en we wisten niet wat voor een kado we haar dit jaar moesten geven. Ze verteld ons altijd dat ze geen kado wil, maar we luisteren nooit hehe. We gaven een klein tripje naar Essen, kado shoppen en veeeel eten :)) Leuke eet tentjes in het buitenland ontdekken is een van m’n favoriete bezigheden haha. En natuurlijk gingen we ook even naar Dunkin Donuts aangezien we dat nergens in NL hebben, mhh!! Nu ga ik een film kijken met Sam, liefs xx

What I’m wearing today; black, white and purple. (sort of, hehe)

Hey guys! Happy Sunday! The only day it is complete acceptable to do absolutely nothing productive. And I’ve been definitely 0% productive today. Slept pretty late last night because one of my friends slept at our place and around 11 PM we decided to watch a movie and drink wine. We watched Friends with Benefits and afterwards we watched travel videos on youtube. Haha so exciting, I’m obsessed with these types of videos! Now I’m about to buy some groceries and cook for myself. Talk to you tomorrow! Kiss

Hee daar! Het is zondag! De enige dag in de week dat het compleet acceptabel is om precies niks productiefs te doen. En ik ben vandaag ook 0% productief geweest. Gister avond ging ik best laat slapen, omdat een van m’n vriendinnen hier was en we rond 11 uur besloten om een film aan te zetten en wijn te drinken. We keken Friends With Benefits en daarna keken we nog wat reis videos op youtube. Haha zo leuk, ik hou van dat soort videos! Nu ga ik wat boodschappen doen en koken. Spreek je morgen! Liefs
