WINTER WALK

Monday afternoon and I’m still a bit tired of Saturday night’s party. I’m drinking my second big cup of coffee. How was your weekend? Hope you had a nice one :-) I spent mine in my hometown. I visited my granny, saw my friends (we actually went to an escape room and made it out on time!) and spent time with family. Now I’m back in Amsterdam and currently in a cafe with Lise, both working on our laptops. This place is pretty close to my house, but my scooter did. not. start. So we walked over here, pretty nice actually! Perfect weather. Tonight we’re going to the cinema to see La La Land. Ryan Gosling is in it so it must be a good one! XXX

PARIS DIARY

^ Have you really been in Paris if you haven’t taken any pictures in front of the Eiffel Tower? Hehe.. Visiting Trocadero (the platform where I’m standing on in these pictures) is the first thing we did after we checked in our hotel. It was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel so of course we had to! :-)

^ Paris is filled with pretty buildings. While we were there it rained quite a bit, but it didn’t keep us from exploring the city.
^ Drinking coffee and eating macarons from Laduree. The perfect afternoon snack! (Even though I wouldn’t mind having this as breakfast, lunch and diner).

^ City walks wearing black and white. Okay, a bit white.

^ While wandering around the city we came across this view. Looks like a scene from a movie!

^ On the second day we had lunch somewhere near Arc de Triomphe. I feel like I want to write ‘Paris is so beautiful’ under every picture, but really, Paris is!

BALI TRAVEL VIDEO

It’s Sundaaay! And time for a video! While Sam and I were in Bali in November, we filmed a travel video. I actually didn’t think we had enough content for a whole youtube movie, but we ended up having more content than we thought :-) Here’s our 1 minute Instagram video, I think I will make a longer video later this week! First I wanted to show this. During this trip it was the first time we used our drone and thankfully everything went okay. Haha, it’s quite hard! I was afraid the drone would crash in the sea, but Sam was very calmly flying it. Hope you like the video! XX

STYLISH & SPORTY

Good morning guys, happy Saturday! As I wrote before, one of my new year’s resolutions is to exercise more and live a healthier lifestyle. Like almost everyone else?! So far I’m doing well, especially now that I have cute work out clothes. In today’s post I’m showing you the new Doutzen’s Sport Stories by Hunkemöller collection. Stylish and sporty.

I actually like shopping for work out clothes more than working out. Once you have new work out clothes, it’s easier to get up and go to the gym. Having nice work out gear is motivating, don’t you agree?

A good pair of sport leggings, sports bra and a top and you’re ready to go! I especially love the black sweatpants, which have transparent panels on the sides.

The grey cropped hoodie is one of my favourite pieces. It doesn’t show too much skin, looks cool and is really comfortable. Last but not least, the All Star sports bra; it looks really great and you feel like a sporty badass while wearing it!

Great for at the gym or even for lounging at home, while watching Netflix. And yes, they are comfortable enough to do both. (I checked…)

NEXT STOP: PARIS

Good evening from Paris! Sam and I are currently in the city of looove! We left the house at 7.50 AM this morning and we arrived in Paris at 11.30 PM. The Thalys only takes 3 hours from Amsterdam central station. I can make this a weekly thing. Hihi. We are here for a little getaway, will only stay here for a few nights. I’m really looking forward to wandering around, views of the Eiffel Tower, macarons from Laduree and long Parisian lunches. The weather forecast isn’t looking promising at all, but I will hope for the best :-) Talk to you soon! XX

2017! ✶

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I know I’m a bit late but still wanted to wish you a happy & healthy 2017. How did you spend your New Years Eve? I had a party at one of my friends’ home and it was nice. A party that was not too big, not too small. A good start of a new year! I’m not really a type who is all about the ‘New Year, New Me’ thing, but I do like to think about some new resolutions. So here are mine:

✶ Be more tidy. I’m super messy and it drives me crazy sometimes. Tidy house, tidy mind. Isn’t that a saying?

✶ Try out more recipes. I have a couple of recipes I can make and that I really like, but overall I enjoy looking up recipes more than actually making them. It should be the other way around?!

✶ Write more blog posts! More lifestyle oriented maybe as well? Beauty, travel, interior etc. I want to share more than only my outfits.

✶ Travel. See more of the world! It would be so fun to explore foreign countries together with Sam.

✶ Find a fun work out. I think the gym can sometimes be a bit boring, so I have to find something I actually enjoy doing. Tips are welcome!
