November the first. That means a little outfit recap is in order, don’t you think? I think it’s safe to say my outfits lack a bit of color lately, but I’m okay with that. Black is my favorite color after all. (Yes I’m aware that isn’t a color) (But I don’t agree). Haha. My favorite look is the one with my over knee boots, which one do you like? ♥
Grey lengths
Right now I’m writing this post from my moms house. We ate dinner together with my sister and now we’re just watching tv. Today has been a good Friday. This morning I shot these outfit photos together with Sam, then I babysat my nephew Mees for a couple of hours (he slept 90% of the time so I did some work on my laptop) and after that I met up with Lise to drink coffee in town. We both brought our laptops so we could be productive but that didn’t really happen.. We ended up talking way too much haha. Better luck next time. (or maybe not). Op dit moment zit ik bij m’n moeder thuis dit artikel te schrijven. We hebben samen met m’n zus gegeten en kijken nu wat tv. Vandaag was een leuke dag. Vanmorgen heb ik samen met Sam deze foto’s gemaakt, toen heb ik een paar uur op m’n neefje Mees gepast (maar aangezien hij 90% van de tijd sliep, heb ik wat gewerkt op m’n laptop) en daarna met Lise in de stad afgesproken om koffie te drinken. We brachten beiden onze laptops mee zodat we iets productiefs konden doen, maar dat gebeurde niet echt.. We hebben veel te veel gepraat uiteindelijk haha. Volgende keer beter. (of niet). Ik ga nu m’n make eraf halen en andere blogs uitchecken. Hopelijk heb je een fijne avond! X

A fluffy cardigan, light shoes and a ripped denim. I loved wearing this outfit yesterday, I always feel so comfortable in loose cardigan + skinny jeans combination. I’ll keep my text short, I’m about to go to Amsterdam. I have a long day of school ahead of me and afterwards I’ll go to my brothers house. I’m excited to spend time with my nephews and niece again :) I can’t forget to bring pink nail polish with me though, my niece Ivy always wants me to paint her nails when I’m with her haha. She is a little 3 year old princess!
Een fluffy vest, lichte schoenen en gescheurde jeans. De outfit die ik gister droeg was zo comfortabel, ik hou van de combinatie van een een wijd vest + skinny jeans. Ik hou de tekst kort, ga namelijk zo richting Amsterdam. Heb vandaag een lange school dag en ga daarna naar m’n broers huis. Dan zie ik m’n neefjes en nichtje weer, wat altijd leuk is :) Ik moet niet vergeten m’n roze nagellak mee te nemen, aangezien m’n nichtje Ivy altijd wil dat ik haar nagels lak haha. Ze is een kleine 3 jaar oude prinses!

Top 3 photography apps
Another Tuesday so another article where I’m sharing some tips! Today I’m going to talk about my 3 favorite photography apps. I use these apps a lot and can highly recommend them.
1. Facetune
This app is my absolute favorite. I use it (almost) every time before I upload a picture on Instagram. Most of the times I use it to brighten up my picture, because I want my Instagram feed to look light. Sometimes I use the pastel filter *as can seen above* or just a blue or pink filter. Facetune also allows you to sharpen your picture, to blur a part of a picture or to retouch pimples etc.
Dit is m’n favoriete app. Ik gebruik het (bijna) altijd voordat ik een foto op Instagram zet. Meestal gebruik ik Facetune om m’n foto wat lichter te maken, aangezien ik wil dat m’n Instagram feed er licht uit ziet. Soms gebruik ik de pastel filter *zoals je hierboven kan zien* of gewoon een blauwe of roze filter. Je kan ook je foto’s scherper maken, een deel v/d foto vager maken of oneffenheden wegwerken etc.
2. VSCO cam
You probably are familiar with the app VSCO cam. A lot of people rave about it and I get that. I sometimes use the M3 or A5 filter to give my picture a cool touch. But the best part of VSCO cam is that you can create a fake Instagram feed. This way you will know which photos to upload and how certain pictures look next to each other. I don’t always do this, but if you want the ultimate #Instafeedgoals, this step is a must!
Waarschijnlijk ken je de VSCO cam app al. Veel mensen zijn er gek op en dat begrijp ik. Soms gebruik ik de M3 of A5 filter om m’n foto wat cooler er uit te laten zien. Het beste aan deze app is echter dat je een neppe feed kan creëren. Op deze manier kan je zien hoe bepaalde foto’s er naast elkaar uit zien. Ik doe dit niet vaak maar als je de ultieme #Instafeedgoals wil, is deze stap een must!
3. Camu
Camu gives you the opportunity to turn every picture to a square. ‘Instafit’ as they call it. You can also add text, apply filters or crop the picture. I rarely use this one since the new Instagram update (square photos aren’t a must anymore) but I do recommend it.
Camu geeft je de mogelijkheid om elke foto naar een vierkant te vervormen. ‘Instafit’ zoals zij het noemen. Je kan ook text toevoegen, filters plaatsen of de foto bijsnijden. Ik gebruik deze app niet vaak meer na de Instagram update (geen vierkante foto’s meer) maar ik kan hem je als nog aanraden.

Colorful leaves
The outfit I wore yesterday contains some of my current favorites. The softest bomber jacket, the nude clutch and pretty peep toe booties. The crisp, colorful leaves on the background give the ultimate fall feeling. Can I count those as favorites as well? It got me thinking of how this is already the last week of October. Soon the temperature will drop, leaves will disappear and turn into snow (at least that’s what I hope) and we need to cover ourselves in 10 layers in order to stay warm. Until then, I’ll wear my peep toe booties and stand in front of a wall filled with colorful leaves :)
In m’n outfit van gister zie je wat van m’n huidige favoriete kledingstukken. Een zacht bomber jack, een nude tasje en een mooi paar hakken. De kleurrijke bladeren op de achtergrond geven me het ultieme herfst gevoel. Kan ik deze ook als favoriet mee tellen? Dit doet me denken aan het feit dat het alweer de laatste week van oktober is. Binnenkort zal de temperatuur dalen, de bladeren worden vervangen dor sneeuw (dat hoop ik tenminste) en we moeten ons bedekken in 10 verschillende lagen om warm te blijven. Tot die tijd draag ik m’n hakken met open teen en sta ik voor een muur met kleurrijke bladeren :)

Is it too obvious I love the back of this jacket? Not really, right? Haha! I really like the color + it’s warm too. Tomorrow Sam and I are both free so we will shoot some looks. I’ve never photographed multiple outfits in 1 day, but since we’re both busy next week I guess we just have to! Aaand, it’s also nice to plan my blog posts ahead :)
Is het overduidelijk dat ik de achterkant van deze jas zo mooi vind? Niet echt, toch? Haha! Ik vind de kleur echt mooi en hij zit ook nog eens lekker warm. Morgen zijn Sam en ik beiden vrij en gaan we outfit foto’s schieten. Ik heb nog nooit meerdere outfits op 1 dag gefotografeerd maar aangezien we volgende week druk zijn moet het wel op deze manier. En, het is natuurlijk ook fijn om m’n artikelen vooruit te plannen! :)
