A cloudy in Formentera but still a beautiful one <3
Hey guys! Haven’t blogged in a little while but it feels so good to be back here again :-) I’ve been back home for a little while now but still wanted to post these photos. Formentera looks like paradise, I seriously think it has the most beautiful beaches in Europe! When Sam and I were in Formentera it was super cloudy in the morning (when we took these pics) but in the afternoon the sun came through and it became a beautiful, tropical day. Tomorrow I will take photos through the day so I’ll be back here in 24 hours, with a little diary. Talk to you then! X
It’s almost June and summer is finally here. While time flew by, longing for summer, I looked up sunny destinations to travel to. My first thought was Ibiza – it’s not just a party island, it’s really beautiful. Warm weather, sandy beaches, turquoise waters, delicious food.. I love it there. Sam and I booked our tickets, went there last week and enjoyed this Spanish island to the fullest. Even though we just came back, when I see the pictures we shot over there, I get so happy.
On all of the photos I’m wearing Hunkemöller. On the first picture I’m wearing a Hunkemöller tunic, which is one of my favorite items of the collection. Easy to put on and take off. Perfect for a day at the beach! Or in my case, a day at the edge of a cliff, haha. Let’s talk about summer essentials. I think mine are pretty swimwear, beachy dresses, a good pair of sunglasses, espadrilles (good for a day at the sea or an evening in the city) and a beach towel that’s big enough for 2. What are yours? And do you have nice summer plans? Let me know in the comments and we’ll talk there. ♥
Ola from the balcony! While I’m still a bit waking up, I thought I’d write a little update of day 2 in Ibiza:
After having breakfast at our hotel, we drove to Es Cavalet. Up until a month ago I’ve never heard of this beach, which is kind of weird since Sam and I have been in Ibiza 6 times before. Anyway, I really liked it. The beach was so nice, it was kind of quite and the water temperature was good as well.
After laying in the sun for 2 hours, we drove to La Escollera to have lunch. We’ve been here 1 time before and we both really enjoyed it then. I was so happy to be back, the food was delicious and that view – so pretty!!
We went back to the beach after our lunch. Sam slept a bit and I just layed there listening to music :-) I can and will never sleep at the beach! Haha, I wish I could but the only place I can sleep is in a bed ;p.Around 6PM we were back at the hotel, took a shower and dressed up. I ordered sangria but clumsy as I am… 2 seconds after this photo I let it slip out of my hands. Of courseeeee.
We ended the day at our friends who live on the island. We had a BBQ and enjoyed the sunset. Now I’m about to get ready for a new day, it’s already warm and I love it. Bye babes! X
Good morning from Ibiza! I’m so happy to be here!! Yesterday we arrived at the airport round 3 PM, picked up our rental car & drove to our hotel. Our hotel is located in Playa den Bossa, right at the beach, and we have an amazing view! Will show pictures later. After changing in to our swimwear, we had a nice beach walk and came across this beach club. We both ordered a chicken burger, which wasn’t the best, but the setting was nice. Afterwards we jumped in the pool and enjoyed the last rays of the sun.
Today we’re going to a beach called Ses Salinas & tonight we’re having a BBQ with friends. Will write an update soon, but in the meanwhile you can follow my adventures on Instagram. Enjoy your day babes!! ♥
Happy Sunday! Here’s the first part of some mobile pictures from our trip to Mallorca! On the first night, we had some drinks on our balcony and enjoyed the view. And the fact that we could sit outside at 8 PM. So cozy!
Super comfortable bed in our room! We stayed at Astoria Playa, located in Alcudia, the north of Mallorca.
I love palm trees, they were everywhere! Here’s a snap of the pool from our hotel.
On the second day we visited Coll Baix. A deserted beach, which you can only reach by hiking 30 min through the forest. A real adventure!
While we were here, it was a Spanish holiday, so it was quite ‘busy’. Lots of local people, who hiked there while wearing work out gear & sneakers. We were wearing flip flops and I even was wearing a skirt. Talking about bad preparation haha!
Next stop: Cala Santanyi! We actually didn’t plan on going here (we didn’t even know it existed) but we came across this beach on our way to Es Pontas. We had a quick stop to have some lunch and to soak up the sun.
The 365 Calvari Steps in Pollenca. You’re supposed to do a wish on every step, how cute does that sound? (and impossible hehe)
Once you’ve had all of the 365 steps.. this is the view from the top! Amaaazing! See you next time with more photos! X
Ola senoritas! How are you? I’m still a bit in the Spanish vibe since I was in Mallorca last week. Good weather, nice hotel, amazing beaches.. Sam and I really had so much fun. These pictures were taken at our hotel Astoria Playa. Enjoying the afternoon sun at the pool. In the upcoming days I will share a photo diary with lots of pictures. I’m about to go to good to bed, so good night for now! XX
Ola senoritas! XX
