Good evening from Paris! Sam and I are currently in the city of looove! We left the house at 7.50 AM this morning and we arrived in Paris at 11.30 PM. The Thalys only takes 3 hours from Amsterdam central station. I can make this a weekly thing. Hihi. We are here for a little getaway, will only stay here for a few nights. I’m really looking forward to wandering around, views of the Eiffel Tower, macarons from Laduree and long Parisian lunches. The weather forecast isn’t looking promising at all, but I will hope for the best :-) Talk to you soon! XX

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I know I’m a bit late but still wanted to wish you a happy & healthy 2017. How did you spend your New Years Eve? I had a party at one of my friends’ home and it was nice. A party that was not too big, not too small. A good start of a new year! I’m not really a type who is all about the ‘New Year, New Me’ thing, but I do like to think about some new resolutions. So here are mine:

✶ Be more tidy. I’m super messy and it drives me crazy sometimes. Tidy house, tidy mind. Isn’t that a saying?

✶ Try out more recipes. I have a couple of recipes I can make and that I really like, but overall I enjoy looking up recipes more than actually making them. It should be the other way around?!

✶ Write more blog posts! More lifestyle oriented maybe as well? Beauty, travel, interior etc. I want to share more than only my outfits.

✶ Travel. See more of the world! It would be so fun to explore foreign countries together with Sam.

✶ Find a fun work out. I think the gym can sometimes be a bit boring, so I have to find something I actually enjoy doing. Tips are welcome!

If you have any new year’s resolutions yourself, feel free to share them!  X

CHILLIN’ IN PARADISE

It’s Sunday evening now and we have one more day left here. I’m not sure if I already told you that Sam actually lived in Bali for 3 months to study here? I think this was about 5 years ago. During this time I visited him for a week. We stayed in Kuta, which is where we were a couple of days ago as well. When we went out for dinner, we saw a couple of restaurants we visited back then. ‘Aww look we had dinner there!’ ‘Oh do you remember that’s the beach we visited?!’ Hehe so nice to see :-) Good memories! Anyway, we’re about to go to bed, then tomorrow we have a full beach day ahead and in the evening we’ll catch our flight back to Amsterdam. A 17 hour flight during the night so hopefully we’ll sleep a lot (Sam for sure will, he usually sleeps before the plane takes off). Have a lot more photos to show so I will blog again when I’m home. Big kiss!! Xxxx

DAYS IN GILI

Quite early, but this morning we woke up at 5.15 to film the sunrise. Didn’t work out that well since it was a bit cloudy but will show the result soon :-)  Anyway! After our first few days in Ubud, we went to Gili Trawangan. A little island near Bali and definitely worth visiting! We took the boat, which takes about 1,5 hour. There are no cars or motorcycles here, so we rented a bicycle and cycled around the island. It took us a couple of hours because we had various stops (to have lunch, visit some beaches, to take photos etc). It was really hot, so every now and then we parked our bicycle and splashed into the water to cool off. Here are some snaps we took during the day! XXX

HELLO FROM BALI!

A very good morning from Bali! It feels like I haven’t updated my blog for ages, I’m so sorry! The jetlag has been real and wifi hasn’t been the greatest. Will try to upload more from now on though :-) I’ve been in Bali now for a week and I love it here. The first few nights we slept in Wapa di Ume, a beautiful resort in Ubud. Beautiful pools, a private vila and a bath tub that overlooks the rainforest. What more do you want hehe. While we were there we visited the monkey forest as well, we saw so many baby monkeys, reeeeally cute! Even though it’s rain season here, we’ve only had one rainy afternoon. Hopefully it will stay like this. Now I’m off to have breakfast! Speak soon! Xxx

CANNES!

Happy Saturday! What are you up to? I just took a shower and I’m doing my make up now. Today I’m going to shoot outfit pictures (it’s so beautiful out here now, I looove fall), have coffee with a friend and go to my sisters place to have dinner with her & my nephew.

The pictures of todays post were taken in the old town of.. Cannes! Some people already guessed it, during my Steve Madden trip I was in Cannes. How fun! It was my first time in the South of France and we stayed there from the 4th of October till the 6th. Just enough time to explore the city. I especially loved the board walk, the beautiful beach and the cozy shopping streets.
